Chain slap chips paint, damages your frame, and disrupts your ride. The TrailDNA MTB chainstay protector is a self-adhesive silicone guard that absorbs impact and significantly reduces chain slap noise when on aggressive terrain — keeping your frame protected and your ride quieter on any terrain.
Designed for muddy trail conditions and easy to wipe clean, it handles mud, grit, and harsh trail conditions without adding bulk.
Choose Your Shape
This protector is available in two profiles. Before ordering, compare the dimensions and images carefully with your own chainstay.
A — Straight Profile (240 × 41mm)
A rectangular protector with a narrower, uniform profile.
B — Contoured Profile (234 × 50mm)
A wider protector with a shaped, contoured profile.
We cannot specify compatibility with particular bike models. Measure your chainstay and compare with the product images before ordering.
Fitting Instructions
- Thoroughly clean your chainstay — remove all dirt, grease, and oil and allow it to dry completely.
- Peel the backing and align the protector along the chainstay.
- Press firmly along the full length to ensure full adhesion.
If your frame shape or cable routing requires it, the protector can be carefully trimmed with scissors before application.
Removal
The protector can be removed from the frame. It is not designed to be repositioned or reused after removal.

How long does delivery take?
Orders are normally processed within 1–2 working days and delivered within 2–5 working days after dispatch. Please allow approximately 3–7 working days from placing your order. UK delivery costs £4.99 for orders below £40 and is free for orders of £40 or more.

If your product arrives damaged or defective, simply contact us within 48 hours with your order number and photos. We will send a replacement or a full refund right away.
